“Best holiday home we've ever stayed in.”

Lossiemouth is our favourite place for a holiday and this home helped us make the most of our week. It is a proper home, with every comfort we could think of. It is perfectly situated with fabulous views over the Moray Firth. We enjoyed a week of spectacular weather so spent most of the time on the brilliant East Beach, but we also enjoyed long walks along the West Beach, a stone's throw from Broadhaven. We spent time sitting in the garden which was a lovely sun trap- and as for getting washing dried on the line- perfect! Being back home now I am missing sitting looking out the amazing windows all evening- we saw dolphins a couple of nights, and the lady next door gave us a note of all the cruise ships and liners to look out for. The sunsets were spectacular, and we enjoyed watching the beautiful lights in the sky until midnight.
The house is extremely spacious- even when my mum and dad joined us at the end of the week we had plenty of room. A fussy teenage boy loved watching for dolphins and ships, and the freedom of the rocky part of the beach down from the house.
We would all recommend Broadhaven and are trying to work out when we can go back. There is nothing we could fault about the house, I just wish we could have stayed longer.

“Great spot to take a break”
Reviewed May 17, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A lovely clean, tidy cottage, well equipped and with plenty of room. The sea views are unbeatable. Walking distance to great eating places and and excellent place to tour the whiskey trail from. I will certainly make an effort to return.

“Home from Home!”
Reviewed April 22, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Fantastic Holiday Home right on the Moray Coast, excellent rooms, welcoming lounge and extensive kitchen diner fully equipped, feels more like your own home than a self catering rental.
When I'm back in Lossie, I'll be sure to check the availability of this before any other.

“Fantastic find facilitating fabulous family fun!”
Reviewed April 21, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a wonderful time staying at Broadhaven with our two young children. The location is idyllic, the views stunning and the house itself is lacking nothing!
Immaculately clean, a well kitted out kitchen, very spacious and comfortable open plan sitting/dining/sun room, good sized bedrooms and lovely modern bath/shower rooms. The central heating was put to the test as the first few days were VERY cold outside. We were lovely and warm inside whilst watching the storms over the sea!
As the weather improved to unseasonably warm we were very comfortable with no heating at all!
Our two boys loved the jets flying in and out of RAF Lossiemouth and the odd easy jet plane flying over now we're home is just NOT the same! We were also lucky enough to see Dolphins swimming in the sea from the comfort of the sofa and watch many species of seabirds skim the water. It's a great base from which to explore the surrounding area and there are a handful of nice places to eat should you wish.
Very friendly owners who have filled their lovely holiday home with books and objects from many overseas adventures. It was full of character.

We'd highly recommend staying here and we will most certainly be booking again as there's FAR more than just a week of fun to be had in Lossiemouth and the surrounding areas.

“For a holiday cottage then this is the place to stay”
Reviewed March 19, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

A lovely self contained cottage in a very quiet location and right on the beach. A beach bar near by and a short walk to a general store a chinese and Indian takaway, what more could you ask for.

“Beautiful house right on the coastline”

We've had a fantastic week at Broadhaven. Lovely spacious house, spotlessly clean, and right on the coastal path. Probably the homeliest, best equipped holiday let we've ever had, and everything in good working order. Good heating, spacious fridge, washing machine, and lots of little extras you might need. Easy access to local shops, and lovely walks in both directions. We'd be very happy to return and to recommend this as a holiday base.

“Perfect nice big bungalow away from roadside”
Reviewed October 21, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Broadhaven is a lovely house, plenty of space for a family. We've stayed in lots of self-catering places over the years and this was up there with the best, if not the best. We liked the location, it's away from passing traffic. A nice environment to relax in. Nice big window looking out over the sea. Good access to beaches and forest walks. Don't really have anything bad to say about it, we had a great time.
