Well worth a trip Dobbies is a garden centre with a good display of flowers staff more than helpfully an expert nearby via radio that helps you.
Also a number of specialist shops for outdoors to have a look around
To the breakie total value for money with pot tea or coffee makes for a good family natter in clean efficient surroundings once you get over the conveyor belt service only way get through numbers that go on a Saturday for breakfast.

“Eating out”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2014

Been here several times for breakfast. On every occassion there is a problem with Dobbies. There is inconsistent food available for breakfast.A seven item breakfast is different depending on who serves you.A serving of tomato is half a tomato for some servers but two halves for another! The food is checked for temperature in the middle of say, a pile of bacon but you are served bacon from the top not the middle of the pile! Not a true reading surely. They also have to do something about the time it takes to serve teas and coffees. This part of the service takes forever.

“Coffee and Cake date happiness ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014 via mobile

We attended Dobbies food area to get coffee and Cake during a split shift from work. Having ate lunch here previously a few times it is always a good experience. We dined in the coffee area this time however and the service wasn't perfect. I ordered tea and received a dirty cup which I had to then wait in the queue again just to be able to get a clean one. However, it was worth this only gripe as our cakes were delicious and the tea and coffee was warm and tasty the way it should be!

I would definitely recommend Dobbies for their food as it is delicious, not the most fairly priced for certain things but there cakes are well worth the money.

“great food - something for everyone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2014

I wish there was a Dobbies garden centre near me – it was very obvious that someone had spent some time and money developing the concept. There is something for everyone. The restaurant supplied reasonably priced varied food. We succumbed to the two for one fresh cream and raspberry scones offer and the equally enjoyable cooked breakfast (not all on the same day!). There was plenty available parking and the restaurant could cater for lots of people. There was a specialist cycle shop, Tog 24 outdoor clothing and a shoe shop as well as the usual garden centre including an aquatic area, home wear and food hall. All the staff were polite and friendly – a good place to visit on a rainy day!
