“Lovely cafe”
Reviewed August 30, 2014

This is a great café if you visit Whiting bay. We had a latte and a lovely fresh scone and then walked up to Glenashdale falls. The walk helped us work up an appetite so we popped in again for lunch afterwards. I had a tuna toastie which had a very generous amount of filling. There are same nice tables outside which are lovely when the weather is fair. You have a great view of the sea and over to Holy isle.

“Tasty Toastie”
Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

Called in for lunch and had a great meal , we had toasted sandwiches with salad and they were lovely. It's so nice to have a fresh crisp salad that isn't covered in Mayo or dressing . The hot chocolate was very good too . The place was very busy with people inside and outside but the staff were brilliant , serving quickly and efficiently. Compliments to the kitchen staff who must have worked very hard .

“Lovely little find”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

We nearly drove past this and just happened to see it when we'd driven up to look at the golf course. We visited after the walk up to the Giants' Graves so we were ready for a drink and a snack.
We sat outside in the front and had drinks (lovely coffee) and apple pie and carrot cake, both presumably home made and both lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, too.

“Brilliant banana splits”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

They do lots of excellent snacks in the Coffee Pot. On this occasion, Mrs S and I opted for baked potatoes. I had tuna mayonnaise and my wife had prawns Marie Rose. Two large plates duly arrived with heaps of filling and tasty side salads. My favourite bit of the menu here is dessert as they serve a wonderful banana split. A blast from the past maybe but the fresh banana, superb Arran Dairies vanilla ice cream, lashings of whipped cream topped with toffee sauce is well worth the calories it contains.
