We have just returned from a break in Arran and as luck would have it stayed our last night at the Glenisle - what a fantastic find! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we could not have been looked after any better - what a fantastic hotel team. We really could not fault any aspect of the hotel, from its tasteful interior, interesting and delicious menu to that of a wonderfully comfortable beds, which we needed after a day on bikes! It is on my list of hotels to return to and couldn't recommned it highly enough. judy e

If there were a ten star rating I would award it to this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Throughout the duration of our 5 nights at the Glenisle, staff went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. I am gluten free, which usually means I miss out on a lot of treats but at the Glenisle I got gluten free biscuits in my room every day, really good gluten free bread, and gluten free cereal and a specially made omelette every morning! The food was wonderful, including lots of sea food and we ate outside overlooking the stunning bay and Holy Island, and surrounded by the hotels beautiful gardens. The hotel bar is well stocked with lots of beers made locally in Arran and lots of delicious Arran malt whisky's. The rooms were super with great views and with so much to see and do on the island we had a most amazing trip. Thanks so much to everyone at the Glenisle, we hope we will visit again soon :-) x

We received a genuinely warm welcome. All staff were helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel is very well managed. The food was excellent and the restaurant attracts many locals. The quality of room furnishings was very good. The bed was really comfortable and the linen was spotlessly clean with lovely large fluffy towels.
The location is excellent -overlooking Holy Isle and Lamlash Bay and only 5 minutes from Brodick ferry.

We only stayed for one night but will certainly return.

Many thanks to Judith and all the staff.

Beautiful situation, quiet and relaxing. Beds to a very high standard and we had excellent three nights sleep with the window wide open to breathe in the sea air. The food was first class, good choice and well presented. Staff were all friendly and helpful with first class service and attention to detail.
Just wish we could have stayed longer, certainly hope to be back.

The picture of the Hotel is taken at an angle so you can not see that the hotel is right on a road. This is relevant if you are a light sleeper . The food is ok but the reviews were so positive I expected better. The staff is friendly and helpful.
