I took my teenage niece, who has several dietary needs, for a short break and found Ian,owner/chef,and his staff very helpful. The room was lovely, beds so comfortable,en-suite clean. The Arran Aromatic toiletries made showering something to look forward to!
View of course to die for! Taking some of our own special food and drink was easily accepted and providing gluten free pizza a special treat,as was adapting some dishes to suit. Lamlash is well situated for exploring the island also. Night views over the bay were as good as daytime and if you can get up at half five AM the sunrise is spectacular!
Thank you Ian,Liz and staff xx

We stayed here for one night. All the staff were very helpful, we stayed in a large room over the bar, but weren't disturbed by noise and the views were spectacular. Food (both evening meal and breakfast) was good, en-suite (shower) clean and functional and the bed comfy. Parking was on the road in front of the hotel and whilst I would describe the hotel and boutique or chic it was functional and friendly and we would happily return.

My partner treated me to a great birthday weekend in Arran and we stayed 2 nights at the newly refurbished Lamlash Bay Hotel. The room had the best views overlooking the bay and Holy Isle. The owners were a lovely couple and couldny do more for us. We eat in their pizzaria restaurant both nights and enjoyed a glass of wine or two in the bar !!!
Thoroughly recommend this Hotel and next time we will be taking our toddler and enjoy the other sights of Arran that haddn''t opened yet for the season.

Spent 3 nights at this recently opened family run hotel in Lamlash, Island of Arran. Nicely decorated in public areas, room was small but comfortable, the locally sourced toiletries were a nice touch. owners visible and very hands on . Nothing to much trouble. Great location right on the beach front . Lovely cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. Would and will stay here again.

Just spent a lovely weekend at the recently refurbished Lamlash Bay Hotel. Warm and friendly service from all the staff and clean, crisp modern decor with not a hint of chintz or fleur de lys in sight. We had a room at the back of the hotel, but for a bit of extra cash it's worth booking the front rooms which have the most breathtaking view of the Holy Isle and Lamlash Bay . The proprietor Ian was most helpful and his background as a chef specialising in Italian cuisine is apparent by the delicious stone baked pizzas we had at the hotel restaurant. The bar too was lively without being raucous and it was nice to mix with locals and tourists alike The rooms were stylish and contemporary which makes a refreshing change from Scotland's usual mumsy style and it was a pleasure to come back to these surroundings and the very comfy beds with clean crisp cotton sheets (Arran Aromatics miniatures in the bathroom was a nice touch too). Arran is a very special place and this hotel makes a perfect base to explore the island from.

As a frequent visitor to the beautiful Isle of Arran, I know that a lot of the accommodation is, to put it nicely - a bit dated, sort of old B& B, but arriving at the Lamlash Bay Hotel was a real delight. Being totally renovated by its new owners, it is tastefully modern, stylish and with special wee touches like the beautiful mugs and biscuits in your room. Our room was large and airy, big comfy beds but best of all is the amazing view of the Holy Isle across the bay.

Arran itself is in my view one of the most beautiful places in Scotland, beautiful, remote, peaceful and has amazing wildlife but beware of the midges in summer.

Downside - missing the infrequent buses due to my bad timetable reading skills - but the upside is that you can always hitch a lift safely.

Perfectly situated in the liveliest village in Arran. It even has it's own chic bar where we enjoyed a glass of wine and banter with the locals. We enjoyed dinner in the hotels very own Pizzeria, which was superb. The room itself had ample space, well decorated and a beautiful view of the Holy Isle. We will be back next year.
