“Great for a family holiday”
Reviewed May 16, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Probably a 4.5. This was a family home which has been extended. The 6th bedroom which had bunks is now a large shower room so there are now 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. it is a mixture of old and new and has all the facilities one might need. You have to take your own sheets and towels and make up the beds. The kitchen and dining room have large tables. Wfi was good. there is a patio area which would be great on a sunny day or evening with lots of seating. It is easier to reverse into the large driveway. We had 4 cars which all got in. If you drive in front first you need somebody to check for cars. It has a flat situation but a gravelled entrance but I am sure wheelchairs would manage. The 2 bedrooms downstairs are roomy and there is a shower room off the adjoining corridor. You could walk to the house from the ferry. It was straight forwaed to book and the owner is helpful.

Went to heathdale for Hogmanay with my family, Malcolm was easy to deal with and all information went to plan, the heathdale is situated not that far from Brodick ferry terminal and easy to find, the place in its self is dated inside, it's a cosy place and recommended for large groups of family or friends, nice coal / log fires to burn and everything you need ifor a self catering holiday , if it's no frills you are looking for and a cosy stay the heathdale is recommended, in need of some modernisation but Safice !!!!!.

“A Great Place to Stay”

We arranged a golf and walking trip for 10 of us and wanted to find a place where we could all stay without hiring multiple properties. Heathdale was great for us. Apart from sheets and pillow cases, everything else was provided. I loved the layout of the house with the large kitchen forming our central social space, and two lounges for quieter relaxation.

There was also broadband available which was really helpful.

It's clearly a family home, with all the kitchen utensils you'll ever need, and a dishwasher available for use. This made it great for a self catering group.

There's enough room to comfortably accommodate a large group, and space for three cars on the drive. I would definitely go back again.

A great family house. Welcoming and very cosy. Super accommodation for larger parties. Very close to beach, shops, Auchrannie. Everything we needed. My family just loved it and will definitely plan to return.
