“one of the wonders of scotland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 10, 2013

Its is a great bridge, with lots of nostalgia attached. There are no workings going on just now so beautiful photographs are being taken as it has been covered in sections in scaffolding for the past ten years. My husband just loves to see trains on it especially when there is a steam train going over as usually means that it will have to make a return journey. Yes if there was just one thing to say about it - it is one of the wonders of Scotland a real beauty. The only way to see it is to journey over it by train although you can get some great photographs underneath either at North or South Queensferry.

“Our Incredible Icon!”

Beautiful and Ideal location for to walk across the bridge with your dogs or family, great for long fresh air. It got car park near, cafe, restaurant. If you walking through bridge and you can go for restaurant or cafe at the end to have cuppa or wee protein food before go back to walk again for your car. I like driving go to bridge for heading to event or night out and sometime I fear for my car going to break down and get struck as bridge have no an emergency breakdown road. Nothing happens to me, phew! Beautiful Sight to look over ferry and sea. Can't wait they planning 50th birthday celebration for the forth bridge next September 2014!

“Forth Rail Bridge - day trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

My husband has always wanted to ride the train across the Forth Rail Bridge. So today my son and I obliged. Catching the local Glenrothes train from Waverley we were soon upon the rail bridge with brilliant views but over far too soon. It was one if those strange experiences that to admire it fully you have to be on the ground at South Queensferry, specifically just outside the Hawses Inn, which you then retire too in order to quench your thirst from the awe inspiring experience.
Verdict - admire from a suitable distance!

“Amazing sight”

I love the Forth Rail Bridge, I love looking it and feel it is a significant Scottish landmark. It looking great as its painted red.
I have never been over the bridge on the train before and this is definitely something I want to do soon!
I love the old Irn Bru adverts "Made in Scotland from Girders" this advert is about 20+ years old and my grandad still says this to me. The girders refer to the steel beams that the bridge is made from.

Simply one of the finest bridges on the planet. View it then ride it on the train and enjoy the experience of both.
