Billy Thomas -owner gave a wondeeful tour of his start-up cake and candy store! He is a southern gentleman who gladly gave me a tour on his day off, a Sunday! (I was traveling across country and lost track of the day). I enjoyed the chocolate walnuts:) Educational for teens in terms if starting a business the right way; with quality and integrity. A+

Mr. Thomas makes you feel like a family member as he shares with you the story of his mamas recipe and his retirement hobby gone global! So pleased he has done so well!

Unique find in a commercial country. Mr Thomas made us feel welcome. Gave us the the history of how it started. Showing all the products that were made, which was impressive for the size of the building. Happily purchased a couple of cakes, whiskey balls & nuts and I don't even like whiskey! Do watch out for the road signs it can easily be missed, It is well worth the visit.

Mr. Billy Thomas is both an American Hero (Vietnam Vet) and Entrepreneur Extraordinare!

My husband and I visited the Lynchburg Cake and Candy Co. on our 25th wedding anniversary, and what a treat it was. Spending an hour with Billy Thomas was both informative and enjoyable. He was open, generous and charismatic. A family man (His late mother was his inspiration. His granddaughter is his pride and joy!) and friend to his employees, (He has never had to let go of an employee.) he is absolutely infectious!

We left with a whiskey cake, several bags of pecans and two whiskey balls that Mr. Billy gifted us with. (We broke into the whiskey balls before we left town and immediately wished that we had brought a cooler with us so that we could have purchased several.)

While we enjoyed the Jack Daniel Distillery, we LOVED the Lynchburg Cake and Candy Co.
