A recent addition to the Jack Daniel Distillery is a "sipping tour". This enhanced tour of the Distillery entails providing proof of age and paying a $10.00 fee per person. Having toured the property on numerous occasions I found this relatively new approach to learning about Tennessee whiskey is well worth the cost. Start with a much smaller tour group than the free tours, explore areas not seen by those in the "free" tours, enjoy a more extended tour with a guide who provides a more personal approach and then end the tour by sampling three different Jack Daniel whiskeys.

We spent the afternoon on a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery and what a great afternoon! It was really more than a tour. We felt like we had met old Jack by the time we left. We recommend this experience for anyone interested in how Tennessee whiskey is made. Also good for history buffs but children were miserable!

We were really looking forward to this tour, although I'm really not a whiskey drinker! When we got there, we were very surprised to find out that they now have a tasting tour available - for a nominal cost of $10. It was well-worth it! It was a very interesting and informative tour. You also get to see things not included in the "free tour." After the sampling, they won me over! Gentleman Jack is awesome!! I would recommend getting there early and booking the tasting tour! You will not be disappointed!

Go early to get booked on a tasting tour ($10 per person). The spaces fill up quickly but it is worth every penny, even if you are not a whiskey drinker. Our tour guide - Jessie James - is the best!! Take your walking shoes and have fun! Do not miss this one!

Even though it was 100+ degrees, we enjoyed our tour. A little disappointed that there was no tasting available late in the day.
