This was an amazing tour. I went a couple of years ago. The people were friendly. The tour was amazing. The whiskey was good. And, the grounds were decadent.

have been to Jack Daniel's several time. Went to one of their BBQ cookoff, to eat not cook. very good and a lot of fun. Also, for some southern charm make reservations to hav lunch at Mrs. Mary Bobo's Boarding House. Ask to eat in the Kitchen.

I lived most of my life 45 minutes from here - never went - til i moved 10 hours away and visited back!

I wished I could have one of those authentic JD autographs on display!

At the visitor center, small groups assigned a tour number. When your tour group's number is called, you meet your tour guide and are taken on a walking tour of the distillery. Groups are small enough to allow everyone to hear the guide's explanations about the process, equipment and buildings. There is one place in the tour that has stairs, but you can skip that part, your tour guide will tell you where to wait for the rest of the group, if you don't climb stairs. We had taken this tour about 30 years ago, and found it to be easier, and maybe shorter this time. Very interesting and informative. Our tour guide was an authentic employee and excellent representative for the company's product.

I have taken several distillery tours and the offerings at Lynchburg stand out since Jack Daniels is such a unique beverage in the world of Whiskey. Be sure to try the lemonade at the end of the tour and ask about how to buy a barrel - they make very cool planters ofr the front porch!
