Catriona and I took an elderly friend on a trip to this place one warm sunny afternoon.
Beacuse of the weather we decided to eat and drink al fresco and it was a wise decision -- almost.
We ordered cream teas and were astonished at the ginormous size of the scones!!!!
They were excellent and almost too much for yours truly to manage.
The table service was polite and friendly and it was also efficient -- we didn't have to wait long to eat and drink.
The one downside of the outdoor eating facility is that smoking is permitted. One rather selfish and inconsiderate woman sitting at a table upwind of us lit a cigarette whilst we were still eating. Ugh!!!!
My plea to the management is ban smoking completely from your entire garden centre.
