Wester Dura is a converted farmhouse located minutes from the historic towns of Cupar and St. Andrews, the home of golf. The B&B has expansive views over the surrounding countryside which provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing break. My room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was followed by a hearty breakfast (preselected from menu options). The dining / lounge room overlooks the garden which has plenty of birdlife, attracted to the birdfeeder. Liana is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble and she shares all the local knowledge re attractions, restaurants etc. Fife is a beautiful area and Wester Dura is the perfect base while exploring it.

Would love to have you back too -and your wife if you can come back to Scotland on your next trip together. It's great when people enjoy our local area as much as we do.

One of the best B&Bs we've ever visited. We stayed for 6 days after a one night visit three years ago. Beautiful and well-equipped room and bathroom, lovely breakfast with a good choice (pre-ordered the day before) eaten while watching the wild birds feeding. Wonderful views. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. Safe, off-road parking. Nice and close to St. Andrews and Cupar and a good base for visiting the region. Quiet. Sitting/dining room for guests with books, information on the region and games for young and old. Liana is extremely welcoming and helpful. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived and we returned from dining out to find a card with a plate of fresh raspberries and chocolates. Wow!

What a lovely location and a beautiful home. Liana provides a great homely atmosphere and makes you feel more than welcome. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, with a whole range of items provided that you may have forgotten - a lovely touch, I think. The food was also superb with the breakfasts setting you up for the day ahead. The B&B is idealy suited as a base for touring the surrounding areas and caters well for families.
We will definitely be back with the kids as I'm sure they will love it too.

Lovely accomodation.Spotlessly clean to the point that the en suite lookes as if it had just been installed. I stayed for one night while on a course in the area. The bed was super comfortable and everything had been thought of in the room.Despite there being other guests I didn't hear a single noise all night. The owner Liana Steven was friendly and welcoming and gave advice on everything I needed to know. I left after a lovely breakfast which was very good value. I would certainly return and would reccomend this to anyone looking for something in this area. Ample parking is available and I shared the breakfast room with a lady with a wheelchair who was very impressed with the house for someone with special requirements such as this. Lovely Garden for sitting out if weather permits.

Stayed for a week whilst attending the Open at St Andrews and found that we had discovered a little gem. Nothing was too much trouble for Lianna (and the girls!) and they made us feel so welcome. The attention to detail was amazing and after a long day out at the golf it was great to come back and relax and on three occasions have a meal cooked by Lianna which was very good value and very tasty too.
Would recommend this to singles, couple and families too would have a great time and be made to feel welcome.
I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone
