We bought a groupon voucher for the Raptor world for our parents and they absolutely loved it! Great experience, increadible birds and friendly staff made their and our day! They were impressed by the amount of information staff knows about these birds and by the way they treat them. There was a walk through the deer park with hawks; our favourite birds of all were owls. They are just gorgeous creatures! Will definitely come back there again very soon!

My wife and I visited Bird of Prey Experience last September; like one of the other reviewers, we went midweek and had the personal attention of Ari, the Falconer (Faconress??) to ourselves. Her enthusialsm and affection for the birds was infectious and quickly put us at ease with them. The Hawk-walk through the woods with a Harris-hawk was brilliant - imagine an exuberant jack-russell scampering about, investigating the hedgerows - but this one was feathered and free-flying all round us! Then we met Otis the Eagle Owl, standing about 3 ft tall - took him for a walk and a flying performance as well - think a decent sized Xmas turkey landing on your arm!! Visiting the deer and other mostly native animals on the site - especially (fairly!!) close up to the Scottish Wildcats - made for a perfect day out. Not to be missed.

I took part in one of their two hour sessions this morning and it was amazing. Because no-one else was booked to do the experience, we got one on one instruction for the same price. I was introduced to all of the birds, then walked through the grounds of the Deer park with one of the hawks. Standing with a hawk whilst a scottish wildcat is eyeing it up, is an experience not to be missed! Once we had gone around the grounds, we went to the display area where I was able to fly another 2 varieties of owl. It really was a fantastic day out and I would strongly recommend the experience to all. The staff were very welcoming and friendly too. You also get free entry to the rest of the park for the day.
