We have just returned from a week staying in Skylark. Immaculately clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable and stylish. One minor downside for us, travelling with a 5 month old baby and a 4 year old, was the lack of bath. Our daughter made the best of the kitchen sink and was bathed in that! I would say that there is now access to the hot tub from the patio doors in the lounge so this has perhaps been updated since the review put up last year. All in all a wonderfully relaxing break set in a stunning location.

Hi Fiona,

Glad to hear your enjoyed your stay! Hopefully you'll be back soon and I'd like to reccommend you take a break in one of our 'Tree' lodges or newly refurbished cottages as these are all equiped with baths to make it easier bathing the little ones.

We look forward to seeing you and your family again!

All the best,
Solid Luxury

Excellent lodges, the perfect getaway. We stayed in silver birch and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We got back to day and are already planning to return. The location was excellent and provided stunning views. The hot tub was great too. My three year old daughter told me she was very sad to be leaving and she will miss Erin the dog.

Me any my husband stayed in the Silver Birch lodge in April and we can't wait to return! The view from the lodges is out of this world and the hot tub makes the view even better. The lodge was spotless and was equipped with everything you could need. Can't recommend enough

Just returned after a short stay in the Douglas Fir lodge. The lodge itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, modern yet cosy, perfect. Location is perfect, close enough to Cupar and St Andrews. Views of the countryside are beautiful. Hot tub is such an amazing luxury. We enjoyed cocktails in the hot tub after dining alfresco. Katie who came to change our bedding was a delight to chat to and so friendly. Erin the resident dog popped by to say hello a few times too, adorable lab with very good manners! We loved her and we loved the lodge. Will most definitely be going back. I only wish they allowed 2 dogs as we will never be able to take our dogs as it's one per lodge.

Just returned after our second time staying in the Kingfisher Lodge. Absolutely first class. Lodge is immaculate and is spotless for your arrival, hot tub is lovely touch especially after a day out & about. The surrounding area has lots to do for families or couples. I can't recommend highly enough.

We spent a week in Woodpecker Lodge just before Easter. The first words we said on arrival were "WOW..WOW and WOW". The lodge is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The views all around are simply stunning - especially after we had overnight snow. The hot tub is completely private and it is amazing to sit in it with lots of deer just a few yards away. The deer were also our neighbours for breakfast each morning. Incredibly comfy beds throughout, and the huge super king size memory foam in the master room was awesome. Two bathrooms was very nice too, although they are both shower rooms - there is no actual bath tub. The track leading up to the lodges from the road is a bit rough, but OK if you drive slowly, and didn't have any problems with it even on the morning after 3 inches of snow. About the only downside with the lodge itself is that there is no actual freezer, just a small compartment in the fridge. We will definitely be back again.

Room Tip: The newer lodges are higher up with better views and more spacious.

We came to the lodges as a large group and stayed in the Skylark, Kingfisher, Mountain Ash, Douglas Fir and Silver Birch lodges. All were fantastic. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, there was nothing that could have been altered.

The hot tubs were a great addition! Very relaxing and great view of the countryside.

We also enjoyed the wildlife - cows, sheep, pheasants, deer and Erin the dog!

We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The master bedrooms in Kingfisher and Skylark have HUGE superking beds - very comfy!
