We eat in the Armaan and order take away on regular basis, definitely impressed with quality of food and service providing when eating in. There are 2 main Indian restaurants in Cupar both excellent, however I prefer the South Indian dishes at the Armaan.

was given a voucher for this restaurant and having never been before was a little bit sceptical. i must admit i was really impressed, the decor was of great standard, the staff friendly but not overbearing. service was really quick, booked table for 730pm and was finished and out door by 830pm. i loved the prawn cocktail with the salad mixed through and the north bengal king prawn fruity was absolutely to die for. we were £39 for 2 starters and 2 main courses with 2 fizzy drinks. not a bad price at all.

Excellent starters included a vegetable puri and mixed meat platter. Mains of steak and chicken were tasteless and over priced while the madras' (chicken and veg) were plentiful but very salty. The last time I visited I had an exceptional vegetable curry but this time I was bitterly disappointed to be presented a curry full of potato and lacking in taste. Despite being regular visitors and having mentioned when we booked and during the meal it was a 21st birthday celebration there was no complimentary drinks or effort made to acknowledge the occasion.
