“Takes most of the day”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

It looks tiny but is so packed with exhibits that it takes hours to see it all; replica fisherfolk's home, history of whaling, following the herring boats - to name but a few. Good little tearoom. small but interesting shop, secluded courtyard - a real treasure. I take all my visitors there and they all want to go again.

“don't walk past go in!”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

This place is a Tardis, around every corner there is another building or boat to view – nearly walked past the Zulu boat section (don’t miss this bit). Learned loads about Scotland’s fishing industry, heritage and the hardships of daily life. You could easily walk past this venue take my advice – don’t – just go in but make sure you go round all the halls and don’t miss any out.
