Great reasonably priced hotel, the room was huge and very tasteful. The only problem was we were on the ground floor and the floor above had wooden floors, so it was a little noisy. Food in the restaurant that night was good and the breakfast excellent, recommended.

The hotel is part of a restaurant/pub located in a traditional building that has been Anstruthers former bakery. The room I head was clean and high quality - including the bath room. Paid £39 for a single en-suite room including breakfast, which I consider good vlaue for money given the type of room and the yummy breakfast.
The Waterfront Hotel is centrally located opposite Anstruther harbour, in the center of the Euk of Fife region.

Room Tip: If you book the room via their internet side, you should be aware of the breakfast even being includ...

The choice of items on the menu was so good we had dinner here for three nights..The service was excellent. The staff even though they were very busy, were polite, friendly and looked as if they enjoyed their jobs..

Stayed here for a night and had a nice big comfortable room which had everything we required. Large flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable bed. Good breakfast, friendly service and overall great value for money. Would definitely return.

Ansthruther the waterfront b & b.
Good, comfortable & clean.  Bed large but zipped down the middle which spoiled the comfort but only a minor grumble.  The shower was poor very limitless pressure & it leaked more water out the hose than out of the shower rose.  Breakfast was very good with lots of choice & I had a very good full English veggie breakfast.  Overall I would heartily recommend staying here & the host was very friendly & helpful.

Booked this place before arriving and opted for the High Tea option. Good selection on the menu but we - along with the vast majority of customers - opted for the fantastic fish & chips (with the high tea option this is served with toast and followed with scones, cakes and a cup of tea).
Service was reasonably efficient and the food was well presented, tasty and represented good value. We will return and having previously queued at a neighbouring establishment for what is regarded as the UK's best fish and chips we don't believe there is much to choose between them.
