“Anstruther holiday”
Reviewed June 21, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Excellent location for visiting East Neuk and doing sections of the Fife Coastal Pathway as the bus no 95 passes through most of the coastal towns. An easy drive to St Andrews, Tentsmuir Forest and Kingsbarns beach.

Waterfront restaurant serves a good high tea and The Fisheries museum is handy at lunchtime. Spoilt for choice as far as chippies go.

Fife folk museum at Ceres is worth a visit and has very friendly staff and a good cafe.

“A super property in a lovely area”
Reviewed August 1, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this lovely house and we wholeheartedly agree with all previous comments regarding the high standards of decor and furnishings and how everything you might need during your stay has been thought of and provided. We loved St Andrews (which was only a 15 minute drive away, even during The Open), especially The Himalayas putting course - great for all ages. We also enjoyed the RRS Discovery exhibition in Dundee and walking along the Fife Coastal Path from Anstruther to Pittenweem and St Monans. Bankie Park, just behind the property, provides plenty of space for kids of all ages to play and the tennis club courts can be used by visitors for a small fee. There are plenty of places to eat in Anstruther, though a Co-op supermarket, open early until late every day, is within walking distance. The East Neuk is a pretty, unspoiled area which would easy to explore by bus or bike if you would prefer to forget the car for a while. We thoroughly recommend this super property in a lovely area.

“Easter Hols in Anstruther”
Reviewed April 8, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

A wonderful cottage , nice and clean, furniture of a good standard, good close amenities, restaurants, bars, beaches. Helen the owner is very helpful and is quick to correspond. Having two bathrooms and three toilets was great with two daughters in tow. Everything you need to enjoy this beautiful part of the country, even some patio furniture to put out in the court yard, to soak up some Easter sunshine.

“Excellent holiday”
Reviewed August 13, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Stayed here as a family of 5, we all had a brilliant time. The holiday home was amazing, the girls loved their bedroom on the ground floor with their own ensuite. The home was equipped with everything that you could want, even fishing nets, balls and bucket and spades were there for them to borrow. Anstruther was lovely and the harbour was only a 5 min walk away, visited lots of lovely places along the coast and the weather was lovely the whole time we were there. Had an amazing holiday and hope to come back some day soon. Thank you so much.
