This is a very quiet place by the sea. We had a picknick here in the shelter of the cliff and enjoyed it a lot. This is really a hidden gem.

Last Monday evening
I went Coasteering for the first time with a friend to. As I have a fear of heights I was dreading and looking forward to it all at once. (I dont let height stop me having fun) Our guide Chris took 15 of us out, all ages, and made the experience great. I would definitely recommend this activity and organisation to anyone and would like to go again. I wasnt pushed to do any of the jump and did alll but the big one at the end. Try it, you wont regret it

Driving down to this little harbour can be quite an experience in itself, the road is very very windy with some rather nasty blind corners on the steepest parts. It is almost a problem keeping ones eyes on the road as the views are spectacular on the way down.
It is a very very, popular visitor attraction on the beautiful Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland and can get very busy at weekends, holidays and on good days during the winter and it can be difficult to find a parking spot.
There is a small beach where the younger ones can enjoy themselves in relative safety, and there are toilet facilities provided, although I can not comment on the state of the facilities, having never had to use them.
The cafe sells everything from Ice Creams to Cream Teas and Ice Lollies, Crisps etc., and so caters for almost all tastes, and has somewhat limited outside seating. The views all around are spectacular and from time to time you might might see local artists sitting and painting some of those views.

This was the absolute highlight of a day spent touring Antrim. We visited Bushmills Old Distillery, Giant's Causeway, Carrick-A-Reded and Ballintoy Harbour. It's a windey drive down to the harbour, but it is so worth it when you get there. The harbour was used in the filming of 'Game of Thrones' - it's Pyke in the series. The scenery is amazing and it's just lovely to walk around. There's a litle tea rooms that was just closing when we visited, but I would definitely come back her again. My favourite!

The road down is twisty and tight. Spend an hour there walking around and recharging your batteries. Sheep island can bee seen in the distance. It would be great to arrive here in a motor cruiser or yacht and spend a night.
