“Stunning location”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

We visited this amazing place on a Sunday Morning and the cafe was not open. It is well worth the drive down the twisty narrow road just to take in the breathtaking view of the waves crashing on the rocks of the small bay. The harbour was popular - fishermen were gathering ready to take to the sea as a group of wetsuited people, a few motor homes and a novice kite flier where all taking advantage of the beautiful views and location. If you enjoy spectacular coastal scenery and the smell of the sea, Ballintoy will provide some brilliant photos.

“so scenic”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

One of my favourite spots on the North Coast. My advice is to try and go during the week if you can as it is a small harbour and parking can be a challenge on weekends, especially in summer.

“The most physically beautiful place on Earth”
Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

Having lived along the coast in California, I have seen some breathtaking coastal scenes but this area takes the cake! Pictures can not do the gigantic scale of these vistas justice. Add to that some of the best food I had after traveling all over Ireland and at a reasonable price and inns with stunning views and charming locals and I can only say I wish I had stayed for more days! It is about an hour and a half north of Belfast and minutes between the World Heritage site of the Giant's Causeway and the must do Carrick-a-something rope bridge. See it before the world discovers its Harbour...which by the way has a fairy to the Aryan Islands.
