Having stumbled on this gem by accident the first time, I had to visit the Red Door a second time. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much, I headed back with friends for lunch. The weather was sunny and having travelled 90 miles we were ready for some home cooked food. The service was spot on, friendly and informative together with a tasty menu which did not break the bank.
The car park was right at the front door, so access was easy and our time to eat and run was very good as we had a further journey to make to finish the day.

We finished a great visit to the Giants Causeway - and was often the case - found ourselves looking for lunch in a rural area late in the day! While Garman had nothing for us - we were thrilled to find the signs for the Red Door on the road to the rope bridge. It is lovely inside - all of the folks very helpful and hospitable - and the food delicious. We didn't take advantage of the amazing looking baked goods - but they looked great!

I discovered the tearoom quite by accident last Friday whilst showing the North Coast to a friend visiting from Arizona. We were lucky to have been blessed with a fine sunny day and were starting to feel rather peckish by the time we were heading down to Ballintoy Harbour. We saw the sign and I just swung the car in to the left to go check the place out. Ended up staying for lunch and tea and cake :). You can tell that this place is a labour of love by its owners. The decor and atmosphere is just first class and the home-baked scones, cakes, pavlova, etc, are simply out of this world. I will definitely be back and will spread the word far and wide as these high quality home run establishments are just the type of business I love to promote. Well done, and keep up the good work!
