My husband and I spent our first two nights of a month long trip to Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, and have just returned home. In looking at my pictures of Bob's garden, I wanted to have fellow travelers appreciate the incredible work and artistic flair of The Whitepark House, and not just the house. The whole place is breathtaking and incredibly comfortable, and we loved our two nights spent in Ballintoy. Thank you, Bob, and I hope that our paths will cross again.

I saw the excellent reviews and booked and must say that this place really has it all!! I agree with the reviewer that said that this is better than most hotels (not just in Northern Ireland, but anywhere). The location cannot be beat - right on the main Antrim Coast road but very quiet and secluded. Wonderful views of the coast all around. It is close to all the attractions and Bob was very helpful in advising us to get to places early to beat the tour buses. Upon arrival, we were greeted by name and served the perfect cup of tea. The garden is exquisite - you can tell a lot of care and love is put into the property and grounds. The house itself is magnificant - historic, extraordinarily decorated, and quite possibly the largest and most comfortable room and bathroom we've stayed in in a B&B (or a hotel). Bob recommended the Bushmills Inn for dinner and called us a cab who picked us up (both ways) right on time. Breakfast was in a beautiful light-filled conservatory and was wonderful with homemade breads and delicious sausages. My regret is that I didn't book more than one night. We have now done all the sights on the North Antrim Coast, so next time we will just need to plan to relax at the beach and on the property. Thank you Bob for opening up your wonderful home!

The whole house is a treasure trove of fascinating items collected during Bob's wanderings abroad. Every nook and cranny in the extensive public area was packed with trinkets and collectibles & holds your attention. We couldn't help but linger every time we left our room.
The situation is quite lovely, with the large rooms tastefully decorated with attention paid to every detail. It was all quite delightful.
Bob is very set in his ways and can sometimes come across as very forceful.
We found Whitepark House a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay where lots of thought had gone into guests wellbeing.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed to be of a very high quality.

We stayed with bob in is home last week, and i think its safe to say that bobs B&B is better than most hotel on the north coast! Lovely reception apon arrival with tea and cookies. He does a great breakfast! Free WiFi throughout which is a great bonus!

Lovely room, very spacious and fresh towels everyday!

Great location to do all the local sites!

Whitepark House must be near the summit of the B&B pile. It is wonderfully located overlooking the magnificent Whitepark Bay and when you arrive the informative and chatty Bob Isles serves you afternoon tea and biscuits.

Our room was more of a suite than a double bedroom with a lovely four poster bed and every mod-con from an electric kettle to an ironing board. In the bathroom, with both bath and shower, even the twin face clothes were tied up with a red ribbon!

Breakfast is served by Bob in the conservatory at a communal table and we had a fine meal over a very interesting chat with an American couple and their grandson from Ohio.

There is no TV - which does not really bother me very much - but I like to read in the evening and, as in so many places, the lighting in the cosy drawing room is inadequate in this respect.

Whitepark House is the sort of place of which Northern Ireland needs many more and Bob and Siobhain are to be warmly congratulated on what they offer..
