“Lovely Seacoast Stay”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

We were graciously welcomed with afternoon tea in the living room by our witty host, Bob. He had dinner recommendations for us and called ahead to get us a spot. We unpacked and headed out for the evening. Whitepark House is a lovely, beautifully decorated home. Every room and bath were perfect. Breakfast was served in the back conservatory facing the pretty garden. It was delicious, and, again, we enjoyed Bob's sense of humor and wit as he served us. As we told him about our desire to visit the Causeway, he recommended we hit the road quickly to beat the bus crowds; we did, and it was wonderful to explore that area basically with no one around. There were 3 couples and 1 single of us, all family. We would, all, recommend staying here...wish we had more time to have stayed longer.

We only stayed one night because we booked at the last minute and there wasn't any other rooms available. The B&B is certainly deserves its 5 star rating. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed a great homemade Irish breakfast, good touring tips and advice from our host Bob.It is a great location for touring or just relaxing. We would certainly return here for an extended stay.

We have just returned from 5 nights at Whitepark House with four friends and have had a great time. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning north coast including the Giant's Causeway. We were blessed with mainly sunny weather and that made everything look so good. Bob was a very attentive host and was most helpful in pointing out things we should see and do and good places to eat. Having said that, we found a little gem ourselves when we went to Ballintoy Harbour. The tea room was full of wonderful home made goodies and the staff were so friendly - and excellent cooks!! Back to the B&B, Bob's breakfasts were excellent but perhaps something other than any variation of a cooked breakfast would have been appreciated - fish or cheese perhaps. One final note - there was no TV or radio in the bedroom or lounge. Bob explained that many people found that a bonus. I have to say that I missed being able to watch or listen to the news. Maybe a minor point for some but it was something we all commented on.

Whiteparkhouse House is a lovely old country house perfect for those of us who prefer quieter places with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, but without the impersonality of a large hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The house fronts the sea. An evening stroll down the drive provides a wonderful view of the sun setting the sea. The location is a good one for exploring the Antrim Coast. We were grateful for Bobs advice as to where to go. We went to the Giants causeway as well as several other places that Bob recommended. The house and grounds are really stunning. The house is filled with things that reflect the owners travels to the East. Bob also recommended some really good places to eat. He is well versed in the area and is very helpful in his assistance, which we really appreciated. This place is a true jewel.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in was lovely with a nice sitting room. It was at the back of the house. I think...

We had originally booked for just one night but extended to two nights - and so glad we did - one of the best B&B's we've ever stayed in! The whole experience merits every one of it's 5 stars. The house is beautiful, every room tastefully decorated, breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden. Bob is a marvellous host. The house is perfectly located for all of the Antrim coast attractions including the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills and the famous rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede. I just hope we can return soon!

Staying at Whitepark House for 3 nights was the perfect place to see the most beautiful part of Northern Ireland's coast and one of the highlights of our 23 day trip to Ireland. Bob, the owner, makes you feel welcome from the time you make the reservation till the last delicious breakfast which he prepares himself. Our room with king sized bed overlooking the back gardens was very quiet and very well appointed. Whitepark House is a very special place.

We were a group of 5 travelling in Ireland for the first time and we lucked into staying at Whitepark House for one night - lucky us! We were all delighted with our bedrooms and Bob's house is filled with wonderful collections from his travels. Breakfast was lovely in the solarium as was tea in front of the blazing fire when we arrived. Bob's recommendation for dinner in Bushmills, Tartine, was fabulous too.
