“Simply Outstanding”

We stayed at Bengore House in Autumn of 2009 and we just want to say how lovely and friendly it was - we had great rooms with fantastic showers and oh so comfortable beds. The house has great views, we spent ages looking out over the Causeway headlands.
The house is elegantly decorated and has some great reference books on the area and Ireland. Top prize must go to Joan's breakfast, lots of fruits and what a fantastic cooked Irish breakfast using locally produced food.!
We enjoyed our little chats about local history and can't wait to come back again."
Great value and great experience!

I travelled with my husband and parents in law for a long weekend break at the end of October. We stayed at Bengore House for two nights just before owners Joan and John closed for the winter. After an hours drive from Belfast we were warmly welcomed with tea and cakes on our arrival and sat in the beautifully appointed lounge overlooking the bay. The accommodation is within a recently built house in a very quiet location but a short ten minute drive from nearby Ballintoy and Bushmills villages with pubs, shops and restaurants. beautiful countryside all around to explore and also very near to Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. The accommodation was fantastic, perfectly clean and very well maintained in all respects with beautiful furnishings and decor. The beds are the most comfortable with luxurious Irish bed linen and the bathrooms were modern and clean with plenty of hot water and complimentary toiletries and towels. There is no TV in the room but we took a laptop and had access to the free internet access. The rooms also have tea and coffee making facilities available. We were provided with a wonderful breakfast with the usual cereals and juice as well wheaten and soda fruit bread, berries and other fresh fruits and yogourt and delicious jams. The highlight was Joan's perfecty cooked Ulster breakfast using local produce. Joan was a warm, welcoming, friendly and informative, helpful hostess whilst being discreet and allowing us our privacy. Overall, fantastic accommodation and superb value for money. We were all very impressed and hope to return next year.
