We have called here lots of times for lunch and never actually thought of writing a review. Perhaps I don't want too many people knowing about it and spoiling the experience for us!!
We always eat in the lounge (lunch time) and whilst things might appear slightly on the expensive side for a day time meal, I can assure anyone they will not be disappointed.
The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Wines are expensive but hard to resist.
The barman/waiter by the name of Frank is very welcoming and efficient. Table linen is crisp and even the cutlery is gleaming and expensive looking. The food is excellent and the only complaint (not really) is the helpings. I don't think anyone could leave feeling hungry or dissatisfied with the food, drink or the service. Nothing is a bother and we have always found a nice crowd in the lounge either having a coffee/tea/meal or drink. I know of nowhere in the area any better to pass an hour or two. The grounds and parking spaces are also very good..
