This was our first trip to Northern Ireland for a family wedding. We travelled up from Dublin and our first stop and encounter with the people of Northern Ireland was when we arrived at the Adair Arms, we received friendly and warm welcome and this continued through the whole four night stay, whatever role the staff were carrying out.
The food in the evening and the breakfasts are recommended whether staying or popping in. The hotel had been recommended by the couple who were getting married, they recommend the Sunday dinner!

The only gripes we have are with the accommodation a bit nitpicky but I think the management should know so they can be rectified.
The bedroom was kept very clean by the staff, the bed very comfy. However, the maintenance of the bathroom requires looking at (see attached photos) which I think are self explanatory.
If one dances around in the shower you do get wet! And the bedroom door self closers require adjusting as they bang shut and I mean bang shut, (!) not great in the middle of the night.

So would we recommend a stay at the Adair arms? On the whole yes we would especially in relation to the staff and food and if the above gripes were seen to the stay would have been 5 star.

Room tip: Ask if the bedroom door self closers have been adjusted!

We stayed here this weekend, during a family wedding in the area. Whilst the hotel is somewhat dated and in need of a refurbishment, it was more than made up for by the friendliness of the staff. Each and everyone one of them were brilliant and the breakfast each day was second to none.

Visited Adair Arms for lunch, lunch was very nice, asked waitress about the dessert menu, ordered 1 dessert, made enquiry about another she said she would find out, still waiting on the outcome of my dessert, not good service on that issue,

Ordered Irish coffee and Bailey's coffee, specified no chocolate or topping on Bailey's coffee.
Drink's arrived with 3 coffee beans .on top of each .
I have never seen coffee beans served on these classic drinks.
Attention to what had been ordered.
Waitress was dull and unfriendly, hence no reply to the dessert.
On payment held back the receipt had to ask, her reply do you want it.

Overall have visited here several times, each time its getting a lower standard

Went with my wife and mother-in-law for a lunchtime treat here as I am off for a few days and felt like something a little special. The menu was varied and suited our tastes plus the ambience of the place was tranquil and reserved; just how we like it. The staff were cordial, helpful and attentive and our order was delivered quickly, without fuss and tasted superb. I'm a healthy eater (if you know what I mean - don't do well at Slimming World) and the portions were adequate to satisfy, and I didn't have starter or sweet.
Reasonably price for the fresh tasty fare. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Hope to stay sometime as the overnight special offers looked good enough to try!

Stayed here on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 . Staff fantastic, food reasonable and cleanliness very good.
Severe problem with NOISE .
Stayed above the bar/ dining area on Friday night which wasn't too bad but, we were awaken by the banging and slamming of room doors all night and early morning
Why have a potential top hotel £80 per night when you can't sleep?
We were moved to the back of hotel for Saturday night's stay and it was even worse
The heavy duty doors (really well made ) have a self closing mechanism which make them slam shut !!! It sounds like the blitz. Unreal!
I've stayed all over Europe but have never heard anything like it .
The rooms above, below and to all sides of us bang, bang ,bang!
Will not be back
Sorry Adair Arms
If you can't sleep it's not a treat!
