Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: A Traditional, Working Farm. We open to the public offering lots to do for children and families. Honeybrook is also a Beautiful venue for Weddings, Parties, Special Occasions and Events. We too run Wild Skills Adventures for children and young people as well as Workshops and Adult Courses in Traditional Crafts. Open seven days a week 10am - 5pm. No need to book in Easter and Summer School Holidays (much to contrary belief!) In the future we may introduce a system in the colder, quieter months whereby we would ask that you call in the morning to inform us of your visit so we can ensure we have everything open and running for you. However we would never turn you away! For a Family Day Out - River Trails, Farm Animals, Pets Corner, Tractor Rides, Pony Rides and Grooming, Adventure Play Area, Big Bouncing Pillow, Water Splash Pad, Soft Play Barn. The Wonkey Goose Cafe sells freshly ground coffee, teas and hot and cold food. Workshops and Craft Courses. Children and Young People: Wild Skills - Learn exciting Outdoor Survival Skills! Tie knots, track animals, build a den, light fires, forage for food, skin a rabbit, gut a fish and get cooking on your open fire. Watch Ranger demos and get hands on - A sense of Fun and Appropriate Clothing is the only requirement! Day courses in Traditional Crafts such as Pole Lathing, Clay Cob Oven Building, Introduction to Blacksmithing, Foraging, Porcelain Flower Making and many more. A Popular Wedding and Party Place - The Great Barn has a registered Ceremony Room and Bar, the Orchard is a beautiful spot for a Marquee if that is preferred and the Stone Circle next to the River is a magical place for a Handfasting - with vintage wagons, tractors and horses it is an ideal venue!

“Great place for the kids”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 via mobile

Loved the place. Really good for adults and kids. Not as many animals as we hoped but still a great selection. Great service and loads of things to do and see. Really enjoyed the tractor ride and also the entrance fee is just £6 per car. Would recommend if you have a spare 3/4 hours

“A few hours on the farm.....”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

We went to Honeybrooke as a last minute outing. For what we paid, £6 for 2 adults and 2 children, you really can't knock it. It was nice for the kids to run around amongst the free range chickens, ducks and geese and it had a nice relaxed feel. Especially nice as plenty of room so never felt crowded at all. Playground for kids was pretty good and soft underfoot thanks to the sand. The blow up bouncy cushion was really different, great for the adults to bounce with the kids! Very peaceful walk around the river. Animals looked well cared for, could of done with a few baby cows tho. Paid a £1 each for tractor trailer ride around the park again can't knock it. Plenty of benches scattered around to have picnics etc. All in all a nice little place to go for a few hours..

“Fantastic Day out for all the family”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Had one of the best days out this year at this fantastic place. The Staff are all really nice and so helpful. All the play equipment is in good order and there is alot to do for smaller ones. The pond is really a non issue, its not very deep and there are loads of people around so if a little one was to fall in- which is unlikely, they would soon be spotted. Sometimes you have to watch your children! Apart from all the fantastic play areas there are all the animals and if you ask nicely the staff will let you pet them. There is also a lovely walk around the farm to the stone circles which gave me goose bumps- in a good way! They also do top class cream teas!
The ford is a great area to have a paddle in the chalk stream. All in all a magical day out at a bargain price. We shall be going back soon

“Great value entrance fee”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

For families the entry fee is great and it's a lovely setting for a picnic and to kill an hour with the kids however it is not very interesting and I would say that after an hour and a half tops, it starts to become very boring as you can walk around and see everything in less than 15 minutes. Could do with a few more activities for the children and would be nice if the children could actually interact and touch the farm
Animals like other local farms. That lets it down alot for me
