We arrive in the dark, there were no lights on, the entrance wasn't obvious, the entire end of the building was scaffolded, the restaurant was closed and semi derelict, the garden was unkempt, there was only one other car on the car park. we thought we were in the wrong place! The man on reception was friendly and helpful. The room was well presented and comfortable but there was a skip under one window and the other overlooked an overgrown garden. The bathroom wasn't very clean, the end of the shower tap came off in my hand and we were told that there were plumbing problems. We wondered why we were given this room when there were only two other rooms occupied, and more glamorous rooms shown on the website. The Dining Room appeared to have been newly decorated and was pleasant but the outlook was of the scaffolding and no outside seating on the patio as shown on the website. The breakfast was 'help yourself', only the toast and coffee were hot. Extremely disappointing and a rip off at £95. Booking.com should not be promoting this hotel until the refurbishment has been completed

Room Tip: Don't even choose the hotel never mind the rooms

we stayed recently in room no 1. The staff was friendly and helpful they gave alot of advise on where to go and places to eat. It was a Very clean hotel, the breakfast was continental style. Only downfall was, that it was a bit of a walk into town to find a place to eat in the evening.

Room Tip: as the hotel is next to a farm, if you don`t like country smells, then don`t stay here.

Such friendly, welcoming and seemingly dedicated staff. Beautiful house, that despite best efforts of the staff, is battling against age and need of financial injection. Rooms a bit damp and musty, however nice and clean. The lounge areas are lovely. Would stay again because of the nice staff. Thank you

Staff very attentive, room no. 9 was clean with a big bathroom. There was a good selection with the continental breakfast but I think rolls would have been better than toast. Overall a very good hotel

Only 1 mile from Wareham. Although on the main road this bed and breakfast is really good. they serve a continental breakfast which is varied and plentiful. The dining room itself was spacious and pretty. Our room was nicely decorated with a large and spotless bathroom. The staff were friendly and informative about what was in the area and came up with suggestions for visits to various places and restaurants in the area. All in all value for money and a treat to stay in a lovely Manor house.

Room Tip: We had a standard room which with an excellent bathroom was fine and excellent value for money.
