We recently visited monkey world and loved it. We walked all the way around in about an hour and half but then had lunch and my son played on the many playgrounds they have. We must of spent 3 hours there in total but would of stayed longer if we had time. The monkeys had lovely big enclosures with lots of ropes and frames to climb around, most of them were rescued so it was interested and sad at the same time to read their stories. Would definitely return in the future and recommend to friends.

My partner loves monkeys and had visited Monkey World as a child where he adopted Arfur. I decided to take my back for his birthday and even though he is in his mid 20s now, he enjoyed it just as much! (And has adopted Arfur again!) It's a great day out and so reasonably priced! The talks are very enthusiastic and interesting and the monkeys are very visible while seeming to be extremely well looked after. You don't have to be young to enjoy this day out, it's great for all ages.

Went here last September after watching Monkey Life on TV for years. Was not disappointed and want to go back again soon.

The viewing areas of the chimp enclosures are in some case quite a way back. I appreciate this is to cause as little stress as possible to the animals but also found that the had set that many plants and shrubs around that in some cases you couldn't see the animals at all apart from a couple of small viewing windows.

MONKEY WORLD STAFF TAKE NOTE - time to cut back some of the plants and tress so that people who have paid good money can actually see what they have come to see.

Managed to get a good view of most enclosures but couldn't see a way to look at the external area of bachelor group (I particularly wanted to see this one as it is where my adopted chimp lives!) I could only see a viewing point for the indoor area and unfortunately all the chimps were out!

The Orangutan enclosures were much more visible and spent hours watching these as well as a considerable time at the nursery group.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable day out and spent over seven hours here so thought it was money well spent (thought to admission charges were very reasonable). Would have given it five stars if the trees had been cut back a little more so you could see some of the enclosures better.
