Rooms nicely updated, great view across the Quay.
Hot rock food not to be missed, especially on a Tuesday - 2 for 1. Great beer & a large selection of ciders - try the pear, blows your head off.
Really friendly staff - locals even talk to us "grockles".

Wasn’t at all impressed with the Quay Inn. Nothing seemed to appeal on the menu (which looks like a fast food menu). The bar was crowded with young girls and there were children crying in the bar-dining area. I guess it’s ok if you want somewhere to take the kids, but they should be in the bar! We walked out and went elsewhere – shame because it’s a nice location!

Second visit and rooms including bathrooms now updated making the Quay a nice place to visit.

Breakfast huge including nice coffee.

Definitely recommend.

Market day on Saturdays can be a bit noisy first thing in the morning but nice to have a browse.

Just returned from 3 nights at The Quay.
Nice view over the quay from window.
Enjoyed the pub food was excellent including a huge breakfast.
Unfortunately our room no 3 needs a bit of TLC.
Good real ales on offer.
Wareham is a nice small town perfect for a short break.

The Quay is my wife and I guilty pleasure.. we love sitting in there for a couple of hours when we are in Wareham for a weekend, watching the Saturday market take place and enjoying some quality time to chat and laugh. The staff are friendly and the clientele are all locals who are friendly. The pub does a lot of live music events and supports the local community so it is always buzzing, with local beers and ciders.
Brilliant for chatting and sharing conversation over drinks & snacks!

We visit this Inn several times on our recent trip to Wareham. The Quay Inn is in a great location by the riverside with all of the local entertainment and activities.. We enjoyed our "Black Rock" cooked steak dinner - it is a fantastic way to cook steaks, other meat and fish. Will certainly go back again when visiting Wareham.

Stayed in the Priory Hotel round the corner (review to follow) but not wishing to spend mega bucks on a day time session, we popped into the Quay Inn for lunch. Friendly pub where you can take your dog, and busy even on a Monday afternoon. Decent menu with dishes like chefs beef strogonoff, loin of cod and chips, steaks and sharing platters, and a reasonable selection of ales. Had cayenne pepper chicken wings and cheesey chips, and partner had ham sandwiches and chips. Food was well cooked, well proportioned and cheap, with comfortable chairs and sofas by the fire. Decor looked fine to us, and staff showed us round one of the rooms, which looked pretty reasonable for £70-00 a night. Will consider for a re-visit when we return to Bovington Tank Museum ( also see review). A good afternoon in a boozer!
