We were very disappointed with the small portion size of our lattice bake. It was far too small - we had to stop at a tea room on our way home to fill up! Luke warm, with a soggy bottom, this was way over over-priced with two colas and a lattice bake lunch costing over £15. With little choice to look around and see if it was somewhere we wanted to eat in, we felt obliged to stay and hoped the lunch would be what we wanted. It was quaint to the point of being cringing.

A fantastic refined tea room, excellent service, and a pleasant menu with something a little different, the salad garnish is yummy!!!, and everything is presented beautifully, a great place for a tea party of any age, but great for the more mature customer.
Also great for cream tea, or just coffee and cake, or a sandwich at lunch time, very peaceful and in a lovely setting, you will have to go a long way to find this type of the tea room in this part of dorset. Enjoy!!!!!

We were not impressed with this establishment. In particular the tea was expensive and came in a cup with milk already added.

After just visiting Minsturs for High Tea as a treat for Mother's Day I am left wondering 'what on earth just happened?' We were served luke-warm Iceland food, followed by white Hovis sandwich fingers mainly filled with cucumber and for dessert a selection of defrosted petits fours surrounded by chocolate buttons covered with hundreds and thousands. On display there were some wonderful looking sandwich cakes and I'm left wondering why on earth we have just been served the freezer dregs. At the sight of the purple wide-legged cords I am just left speechless and when it comes to paying am not in the least bit surprised that they've forgotten about the deposit I've paid! It all just seemed too surreal and just ever so bizarre!
