We Stayed here for our wedding anniversary and was met with a very warm and friendly atmosphere, We stayed in room 5 which was a quaint little room very clean and comfy, the gentlemen who booked us in and took us to our room was very friendly, we had a table booked for the evening and were sat in a very cosy part of the pub and enjoyed excellent food and exceptional service through out the night. In the evening the floor supervisor came and spoke to us which was nice, he also served us during our meal with another very polite young lady. The staff with out a doubt are a credit to the business and we would definitely return and recommend the pub to friends and family.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by member of staff and shown to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable.
We had evening meal which was superb and reasonably priced. the staff were very polite and friendly and extremely efficient.
I would also highly recommend the Badger Ale an excellent pint.
The Inn is set in charming surroundings within yards of the Sea and lovely Coastal walks.

Have been here hundreds of times due to its proximity to a campsite we stay at.
The location of the pub is lovely, ideally situated for walking between Weymouth & Ringstead.
The beer garden in the front is spacious, with tables along the stream and on a large concrete area.
The food has improved from the dreadful state it was in a few years ago - the new managers have done a great job of refocusing the staff & improving things. Even so, sometime the food is lovely, and other times it's slightly disappointing.
The pub can get stupidly busy in the summer, with food taking over an hour to appear. The staff do inform you of this when you order, so at least it's not a surprise when you have to wait for ages.
In quieter times things are much better, and food delivery times are an acceptable 10-15 minutes.
The staff are all very friendly - due to the number of visits we make they know us now and are always welcoming.
New for this year was free wifi, which I had been calling for for years! Phone service is very poor in & around the pub, so being able to use the free wifi is a very welcome new addition.
Looking forward to our next visit.

I visit this pub a few times a year whilst on holiday in Weymouth.
Even at busiest times, nothing is ever too much to ask for and i have never waited too long for food. Very impressive range of ales and lovely and cosy inside. Great setting and surroundings.
Food is good but could be better for the kind of pub it is and for the price!

Good beer, great food, lovely setting, bit of sunburn and nice staff. The only place i have eaten in the last year that has been consistently good. Only down side is its a bit far to walk home, but still worth the taxi
