Having been to a number of their 'special' evenings, which they hold about 8 times a year, I can vouch for the very good food and very good value they represent. Their wine is also excellent value and good quality. They tend to have theme evenings, such as Greek, Spanish, Italian etc.... may sound a bit tacky but they are not and the food really is very good with a nice choice.

Their breakfasts are also good and again they frequently have offers available via the local press or from their website (and for lunch)

We ate here in the school holidays and were very happy with our meals. In particular the sauté potatoes were delicious served with cauliflower cheese. The puddings are worth a mention too !
Great for families as there is a play area outside.

Super place for a light lunch, coffee or a scone; we love it here and call in whenever we can, either to buy supplies from the deli or to have lunch or coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious menu items and an ever changing range of specials. We haven't yet tried the breakfasts but are reliably informed that they're fabulous, too. Certainly the bacon and sausages from the on-site farm shop are fantastic, which bodes well ...

Wow - always great to visit here, the food is well fantastic, homemade and truly filling, the soup was perfect for a very cold winters afternoon, and the Dorset Apple cake with clotted cream (picture attached) is a must try, very well worth a visit if you are nearby :)

The Udder Farm Shop was recommended to us by some friends who live locally. We met family there, ate in the restaurant, browsed the Farm Shop & let the children play on the adventure playground.

The Farm Shop is big & well stocked with, as you’d expect plenty of local produce. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced & very nice, empty plates all round. The adventure playground & fenced in field was big enough to keep the children happy for most of the afternoon. The staff were friendly & we didn’t feel we outstayed our welcome even though we were there for best part of a whole afternoon. I’d recommend the place to any-one.
