We dined at the Greyhound last night and the food was good, especially the fish and chips. We hope to visit again before we go home. Our two dogs were made very welcome. Staff are great and is a busy place so well liked by all.

We went when it was seafood festival, My boyfriend had both of that menu. Food presented in excellent manor but certainly wasn't style over substance.
I had crab stack with smoked salmon and boyfriend had scallops for starter. Both excellent.
For mains, boyfriend had 1/2 Lobster Thermador and I had the Homity Pie. Again, both excellent. Only reason why not 5 stars was the lobster didn't fill boyfriend up and at £20 it was a bit on the pricey side to still feel hungry afterwards.
Service was excellent. Would certainly go again

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews for this pub ???

We got to the pub at 6 so were lucky to get a table. The staff were all great enven though they were very busy. Our meals were fantastic and a great price. We left a 20% tip.

The Absoulte ruin is a pint not to miss

Somebody asked for a cream tea and were told that the CT was not served after 6, a bit off as its just a cup of tea , a scone and a blob of jam.

Defo visit again !!!!

We dined at the greyhound recently but found attitude of the staff bad and wasn't expecting anything special with the quality of the food.
The food was very poor and won't be returning obviously they survive on tourism and passing trade.
I would suggest going to the castle inn or model village for lunch.

The Greyhound Inn's claim to fame is that it is the most photographed pub in Britian, and you can see why, with Corfe Castle overlooking it.

The atmosphere inside is nice and cosy, and it's right in the centre of the village so you can't miss it.

We popped in for a bite to eat, and ordered cheesy chips. £3.50 for a small dish of chips covered in cheese is probably unreasonable, but we were hungry! We waited 20 minutes and the bar staff had to bring our order to the kitchen's attention. They weren't too bad, but weren't too tasty either, being as they were just oven chips with a bit of cheese on top. Would definitely advise ordering something else!
