We stayed for 2 nights booking at short notice. Donna was very friendly and helpful on the phone and a lovely host when we arrived. The breakfasts were great, a full English the first morning and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on the second, not to mention fresh fruit, yoghurt...!

The room was furnished to a high standard with a lovely ensuite shower-room.

We ate in the Fox Inn just up the road, great food and no children!

The owner/manager was very accomodating to our ever changing arrival time however, despite prmising to be there, wasn't around when we turned up. We soon tracked her down and she showed us to a large, comfortable, modern room with its own entrance way so we felt we could come and go as we pleased. It was a little overpriced but it was high season and all B&B's in this area are expensive in school holidays. Breakfast was a bit disapointing, very greasy and not much of it. In reference to one of the other reviews, we only stayed one nght and there were no problems with this at all, although it was a late booking.

A very warm welcome. The rooms are lovely furnished and very clean (Swiss standard!). Kettle and tea bags were also provided. The BB is located on a quiet street which ensures a good-night sleep without being disturbed by any traffic etc. The breakfast was carefully prepared and the guests were presented with a wide range of choices. The prize is fair and not a rip-off (especially if you compare it with other BBs in Corfe!!). I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

Booked a 2-night break with a friend from work, for a 'girlie' weekend away! I know the area very well; as a child my grandmother used to have a caravan in Swanage, so the Isle of Purbeck holds very special memories of many happy family holidays and I have to have my 'fix' at least once a year! My friend has never visited before so I was excited at being able to show her the natural beauty of Corfe and the surrounding area. We arrived Friday night and Mark, our friendly proprietor, showed us to our tastefully furnished and decorated twin room, extremely comfortable and clean with its own en-suite shower room and plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets on a tray! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and sustained us for pretty much the best part of the day ......no lunch required! I defy anyone to find fault with this cracking little B&B in such a superb location. I have to say it's the best B&B I've stayed in a long while. Do try and visit Tyneham, the little village lost in time.....but check the opening times as you wouldn't want to be caught in any cross-fire! It's difficult to add anything different to previous reviews, only that I agree totally with them all (apart from one ridiculously negative comment by one person who didn't even stay @ Olivers so in my opinion had no right to post a review - he just got the hump because he couldn't book one single night during busy periods......so in answer to that, if one night is all you want, just book a B&B where you can then you won't be disappointed, but it'll be your loss not to stay at Olivers, trust me! Highly recommended!

We booked fairly last minute for Olivers. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room.
I can honestly say I was happiest at this B&B than any other. The quality of everything is excellent. We had a large room with drink making facilities and a TV.The decor was lovely..quiet and tasteful and to a high standard. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of extra bedding so depending on your needs you could suit yourself.
The bathroom had a lovely large shower and there was always hot water
Breakfast was superb.Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and a wide choice for cooked breakfast.
There was a little patio where we could sit in the sun in a small garden with flowers.
The owners kept a low profile but we knew exactly how to reach them if we needed anything.Perfect.
I felt that nothing was too much trouble and this is a really quality establishment at very reasonable prices.

Only stayed two nights while we visited family. The owner made us feel very welcome and was interested to find out about our needs instantly. The room was fresh, clean and spacious. Breakfast was served at a time guests required it. The choice of food was amazing. Very fresh fruit and bonus, filter coffee!

Unusually, for my experience of B&B's, Oliver's was tastefully - one might even say elegantly - appointed, and had clearly been decorated recently. Both our room and the public areas were spotlessly clean and the bed was large and comfortable, with plenty of spare bedding in the wardrobe (welcome on a very cold weekend). A large, modern, shower cubicle made a nice change from the more common tiny cubicles where you can't wash your hair without banging your elbows on the sides.

Other plus points were the friendly owners (very relaxed when it looked like we might not be able to check out on time) and the delicious breakfast.

Minor niggles - the lack of parking (but that's Corfe Castle for you and there is a pay and display within about a minute's walk), the lack of a shelf to put your stuff on in the bathroom (though there is a chair) and I would prefer large towels to having a heated towel rail.
