Wonderful views across Lyme Bay and excellent walking - though several diversions caused by landslips.

“What a view”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Great walk - slightly steep at the end but even those with mobility issues can do part of the walk. Stunning view from the top. some of the steps are a bit high for me (and I'm 5'7") so a stick would be good if you are shorter

“Top of the World!”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

A bit of a climb but nothing too daunting and well worth it for the amazing views from the top.
The National Trust car park is a little tricky to find as it doesn't appear to be sign-posted off the A35.
Go westbound on the A35 and, after passing through Chideock, at the top of Chideock Hill, just before a short section of dual carriageway, on the left is a narrow lane called Muddyford Lane. Turn left into this lane and in about 50metres turn left again into Langdon Lane. Continue along Langdon Lane and the N.T. car park is at the end.
The car park has plenty of information and detail about how to walk from there up to Golden Cap.
Enjoy the view!

“Fantastic Views”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

Plenty of walks, magnificent scenery, well certainly for those with a geological interest. The highest cliff on the south coat I believe, Golden Cap beating Beachy Head. Probably the smallest National Trust Tea room, just a machine

Fantastic views of the Dorset coastline.Would only recommend to those who are reasonably fit as it's quite steep in parts.
