If you haven't tried a live broadcast of a live theatre performance then give it a go. It's works very well and is just like being there. The Electric Palace with its Art Deco ambience and welcoming staff is just the place to experience it.
We have seen An American in Paris and Funny Girl this year, both brilliant.
Keep it up Electric Palace.

This really is a lovely, quaint little place and given how small a town Bridport is, they really do attract some terrific acts.

However, I give this place a huge thumbs down due to the management decision/behaviour of patrons during some music events.

Having a bar in the auditorium means people queue up for drinks, stand in the aisles and act as if they’re in a pub that’s putting on live music...i.e. talking through the performance and blocking the view.

After this experience, I now tend to visit the Tivoli in Wimborne (who are also attracting some great acts) as it’s altogether a much more enjoyable experience.

This is now, unfortunately, a last resort venue if I can’t see the performer elsewhere.

Superb night out to see Stompin Dave’s Blues3 here, hope they all return in the future- have been to quite a few of their blues nights, never disappointed.

The Electric Palace is a true one-off, an unusual old-fashioned gem of a place with all mod cons.

A great venue for your events - the manager and staff certainly know how to pull out all the stops to make things go well.

Thankyou Emily , George and Jessie, plus other smiling efficient staff who's names I didn't catch. And thankyou Electric Palace, every piece of brick and mortar. My daughters wedding was a wonderful day and so much of it down to you all. So much attention to detail and such a splendid building. And I'd like to mention that I met the future star Harvey Causley when he played guitar and sang at my daughters wedding.
I have been to The EP before for gigs and comedians, and now I've seen that the crew can transform the building into a beautiful wedding venue. I can honestly and heartily reccomend the EP to anyone, no matter what the event.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to The Electric Palace for such a wonderful and happy day on Saturday. It was Matt and Caitlin Taylor’s special day and all the staff did everything they could to make it a day to remember.
There were loads of special touches like the personalised C&M letters up on the stage, the beautiful aisle they had created with flowers and candles. The whole venue looked amazing and was perfect for a wedding.
The staff were amazing! They made the day for us, nothing was too much to ask and they were so sweet and kind with my son, Freddie. George even let Freddie play with his staff badge, much to Freddie’s delight. The staff all worked so hard and I could see how much effort had gone in to the day. So, thank you to Em, Lucy and George. You really made the day go smoothly.
We loved the little touches with the Rossi’s ice cream & the candy bar were really cool.
We were also really impressed with Harvey, he was a wonderful singer and I loved the fact he was singing them down the aisle.
Every detail was well thought out, well organised and well presented. You really made the day special for the bride and groom and all the guests were very happy and had a fab time. That was all down to Em’s fantastic wedding planning and the staff on the day.
Thanks again and good luck with more weddings in the future.

Beth and Rob Taylor

My brother and his now wife had their wedding and reception at the electric palace.
It was an outstanding venue, the staff were professional but friendly.
I am hoping to go back for a gig in the future and I would definitely recommend the electric palace.
A special mention to Emily and George they were fantastic and kept the guests happy.
We were lucky to have Harvey singing during the ceremony and afterwards, what a superstar he is. His voice is amazing and every guest was blown away by him.
We had Rossis ice cream of Weymouth in the evening and it was an awesome treat.

What s beautiful cinema building! In continuous use since 1926, updated but retaining a wonderful art-deco feel and appearance.

Saw The Producers 50th show and it couldn't have been better. A wonderful asset for the town and such a versatile venue.

Truly wonderful!

Brilliant venue for seeing bands - acoustics perfect and lovely to have no barriers so able to enjoy the band properly. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful building. Two sets of toilets but only 4 in total so always a queue. Could do with a cloak room which would make it perfect. Good local cider which is always good to see. Looking forward to seeing more bands here - good line ups for the rest of the year.

What a lovely building with great character.
Felt like we were stepping back in time.
We watched the Wurzels- a great evening with a mix of open space and seating. Plenty of bars with plenty of local cider/beer/cocktail choices!
Looks like there is always plenty of things going on here events wise so would recommend!
