“Typical country market.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

This market is held on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Saturday is far bigger. A large country market that goes well back into the mist of time. Something for everyone, old and new and you never know what you may find. On Saturdays in the Square there is nearly always music from the local brass band to solo instrumentalists playing and plenty of seating in the area as well. Close by is the antique quarter, where you can while away several hours. Bridport is served by local buses being the X53, the No. 31 and also from Yeovil.

“Great Flea Market”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

The flea market is really interesting if you like shopping for unusual objects an collectables. Pubs are expensive if you want to eat or rink. The Hat festival is very interesting and entertaining with morris men ancing in the street and live music. A good day out .

“Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2012

This really is an excellent market. It is held on a Wednesday and on a Saturday morning. The Saturday market is bigger and better and runs from 8am until about 2 pm.The whole town buzzes and in Bucky Doo Square there is often live music. On the second Saturday of each month there is a farmers market that is held at the Arts Centre,
Everything seems to be on sale there , furniture, bric a brac, food, clothing ,flowers. Well worth a visit.
Bridport has a host of good pubs to have a pint and something to eat in.
Enjoy, we always do.

Visited Bridport Market last Saturday and was overwhelmed with the stalls along the main street. There were so many and such a variety of wonderful second hand marvels for everyone, totally quality everything in great condition. Could almost have been in Camden or even Notting Hill, all the surrounding shops that lined the street where lovely too, very individual. Just to top off the visit the Salvation Army band were playing too, it was a real delight, I cant wait to go back. Hats off to Bridport, it made us think about our town and what we don't get quite right.
