We booked the day before arrival and really didn't know what to expect. Our fears were completely unfounded, the accommodation was really very good. It was clean, bright, spacious and the location was stunning. We were surprised to find that it was better than what was advertised. There was even a hamper there to greet us.
The location was stunning, 100m from a dog friendly beach (and very clean). The local pub was very friendly and served good food. Would I go back-yes, yes, yes
Seaspray is a lovely, cosy and comfortable property located in the small village of Eype. It has all amenities you need for the holiday although we couldn't find any
hand towels in the bathroom and there was one bath towel for the property. It has the beach on the doorstep and coastal walks. West Bay is a 30 minute coastal walk away from the property. There are other coastal walks as well.
Access to the property is via a long single track road which was challenging at times. We visited the Palmers Brewery and had the tour which was very good.
We had a great holiday all in all apart from the weather which didn't stop us and our dog doing anything. I would recommend this property to others.
Seaspray is a bright & really comfy place to stay. We were booked for a wedding at Symondsbury Tithe Barn, so stayed here for a week. It is in a gorgeous position, although our view of the sea was blocked by the next door chalet & their two large transit vans (not what I call "neighbour friendly"). We did have some maintenance issues on arrival, but these were sorted, without fuss, by the Estate Office. We received a very nice basket of food essentials upon arrival. The only bad point is the access road (about 1.5 miles). It is terribly narrow & in some parts you are either giving way, reversing or just waiting for someone else to be courteous ! As the owner of a new car I found this both tortuous and unnerving. Not recommended.
Great location with Bridport, Lyme Regis, Burton Bradstock on the doorstep. Great facilities and lovely basket of fresh produce provided for our arrival. The Cabin had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The beds were very exceptional and the cabin was warm and cosy. The beach is just a very short stroll away and there was a lovely sea view but this was sadly often obscured by the neighbours vans, the only negative really. Still this did not take away from the relaxed feeling the surroundings promoted. The booking and arrangements were made very easy and Kimberly was very helpful, friendly and kind. We would highly recommend this lovely place.
Gorgeous chalet style accommodation, metres from the beach. Everything you could possibly want for your stay was there and more, modern, clean, warm, cosy. Dog friendly, not that you would know, everything clean and immaculate.
Absolutely loved our stay here. Only negative was that we only stayed 3 nights!! Would have loved to stay alot longer and will definitely be back. Perfect location, right by the sea. Such a snug, lovely cottage.
Seaspray Chalet is extremely well-equipped for any family and lovely that it welcomed dogs also. The chalet was clean and well presented in a super position near the edge of the cliff top overlooking Eype Beach. A great addition was the thoughtful welcome pack left for us, thank you. The fridge wasn't working when we arrived as a fuse had gone, however a quick call to the handyman listed in the book and the problem was solved promptly.
The only downside was that the property next door have a large vehicle which was parked so that we couldn't see much of the sea view from the French doors, which was a shame but out of our control. However step outside and you get views of real beauty.
We also went to Symondsbury Estate which is well worth a visit. The cafe is delightful; a very warm, cosy atmosphere and the beauty barn served us well!
Overall a great few days spent relaxing. Would definitely come again to Seaspray.
