“A not to be missed country pub and accommodation”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

We have been for lunch at this excellent pub in the pretty village on a number of occasions and it has has been of a very high quality. This Easter we decided to stay a night and we very pleased with the light and spacious room and great food.

“Good cooking in a lovely pub.”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Really friendly staff here, welcoming and efficient despite being very busy. Annie is the perfect landlady. On a bitter cold evening the pub was warm and cosy. Nice menu, all freshly cooked to order, using good local ingredients,by chef Karl; I'd rather go somewhere with a proper chef than a soulless microwaved meal any day. We enjoyed a scallops and cockles starter in a delicious sauce. Then lamb loin, perfectly cooked and pink with a scrummy slow cooked lamb shoulder croquette and fresh broccoli stems. Best deserts menu around- fantastic fresh rhubarb ice cream , salted caramel and other home made ice creams also available. We had chocolate profiteroles- really nice . All too tempting to refuse.

“Village pub with new owners”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

Sadly it seems Trip Advisor has got the wrong picture with reviews of Burton Bradstock Three Horseshoes, but the picture is of a pub at Powerstock. Anyway as from October 2012 -The Three Horseshoes at Burton Bradstock has had a temporary landlady, and boy what a difference. Fabulous food, great atmostphere. Want to say to all those negative comments, please dont be put off, it is now worth a visit. I know what its like, if you have a negative experience its easy to be put off an area.

“Great pub!”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

We stayed in Burton Bradstock and ate at the Three Horseshoes. Very welcoming, they are happy to have dogs inside [except no dogs in the post restaurant bit]. Food was delicious, pricey but you expect that near the coast. Good choice of beers. Really enjoyed it. Very busy, buzzing and all the staff very friendly.
