Thank you Molly for letting us stay in your wonderful yurt! Fabulous accommodation in an incredibly peaceful spot close to all the sights.
We stayed for 2 nights in the wonderful Russet yurt: which is like the Tardis, with masses of space inside. The enormous bed was so comfortable and had an incredibly efficient heated under-blanket with dual controls for extra cosyness! The en-suite shower room was well-equipped and kept warm with a heated towel rail, while the yurt had a massive log burner which was fun and a lovely, romantic touch.
Molly the owner had thought of everything: even an electric milk frother to accompany the Nespresso coffee maker- a real bonus.
The surroundings are idyllic, with rabbits and badgers living nearby. We heard owls and woodpeckers while lying in bed with the yurt's fairy lights on and the separate kitchen yurt is set amongst the cherry orchards.
We LOVED our stay and would highly recommend the yurts to anyone looking for peace and quiet but with all the home comforts. Thank you, Molly!
Amazing stay at Walnut farm. We stayed in Pippin yurt (one of two yurts). Location is stunning a gorgeous farm surrounded by apple orchards and cherry trees (heaven!) with the most stunning countryside views, cows roaming about on the hillside - we felt like we were in the Milka advert!
When we arrived Molly the lovely host showed us round we were amazed to see we had a whole yurt that was just the kitchen, fridge freezers, oven, kettle and loads of equipment (more than we have at home!).
Pippin yurt exceeded expectations (my friend had already told me how fab it was!) but what a view and what a treat that we had great weather.
The bed was amazingly comfy and we had the best nice sleep in ages, with twinkly fairy lights and a cosy log burner, a proper bathroom ensuite what more could you want? Maybe a coffee machine and a kettle next to the bed? That's ok, they already thought of that, and some usb plug points too!
Just to add the gorgeous beach West bay is 5 mins away in the car and this location makes it an idea base for a beach hol in a lovely secluded spot for total chill time.
Thanks Again Molly, a little bit in love with Pippin and we will be back (and I will be in touch re a zen do!) Andie and Jon x
We had a really brilliant long weekend staying in Pippin Yurt at Walnut Tree Farm. Oh my goodness, as soon as I stepped inside the yurt I knew I would not want to leave. Molly the owner may remember me telling her this!
Everything was beautiful. The yurt. The setting. We even had a spectacular thunder and lightning storm on one night while we lay in bed cosy inside!
Imagine waking up in the morning to birds singing and then stepping outside and seeing nothing but green hills, trees, fields and the occasional pheasant, rabbit or cow, all around as far as the eye can see. Couldn't beat this view while we ate our Cornflakes!
The local pub is a short walk over the fields. Good food. West Bay is only 3 minutes drive.
Thank you Walnut Tree Farm for a wonderfully relaxing break which while it had all the luxuries you mightn't normally expect (super shower and proper flushing toilet plus lovely comfy bed), the best thing for me was how rested and connected with the nature and beautiful countryside I felt by the end.
Don't give it any thought. Just book it!!
Walnut Farm Glamping was a wonderful long weekend away. Molly and Nic the owners were incredibly friendly, always available and always available to help where needed. The Yurts were spacious and beautifully laid out. The bathroom was great, shower great. The scenery is incredible and wildlife abundant. Love the fact you can help yourself to any fruit from trees in the summer (there are lots). Short drive to the beach and just as short drive to some lovely little pubs around. For the price it's very very impressive. We will definitely be going back for another break to Walnut Farm!
