Found this place along a very bumpy road - feeling sure I had taken a wrong turn. We all sat outside in the sun and had cream tea which was lush! warm scones, excellent jam (not too sweet) and proper clotted cream! no complaints at all here - early evening (last orders 6pm) menu looked lovely as well. Will defo be returning in the future - might walk next time!

We always go here when visiting family nearby. Discovered it years ago and it's perfect for a snack, afternoon tea or light lunch after a walk on the cliffs. Great views along the coast.

We're almost reluctant to write a review as it means that others will then get to know about Downhouse Farm cafe! One of the things we like is the location and tranquility of the place... Great menu with delicious specials to choose from. A fantastic breakfast that sets you up for the day, great options for lunch, particularly the locally sourced smoked mackerel pate, and an amazing cream tea; one per person is almost too much!

Found via the signposts off the coastal path - bit of trek but well worth the effort. Came back the next day for lunch and drove down the very narrow unadopted road which takes some patience. Good service, good food and great location - simple food, I had Bubble and Squeak with fried egg and bacon. All done very well and delicious. Did the coastal walk again the next day and paid another visit - three days, three visits - always a sign that this was worth visiting.

Thoroughly enjoyed a delicious Dorset cream tea a few days ago, can certainly recommend! Plan to return again when next in the area.
