“Disappointed!”
Review of UK Llamas

On Friday 26/4/2013 we travelled a fair distance specifically to visit the UK Llamas. It was advertised in the local newspaper as "2 adults for the price of 1" during Dorset Residents' Week(22 - 28 April 2012). The opening times were given as 10.30am - 12.30am. We arrived in Mosterton just after 10.30, but were unable to find the farm. After several trips through the village a shopkeeper pointed us in the right direction. The site was located on the outskirts of the village, but the signage was poor and could easily be missed. The we found the gate padlocked, with a sign saying "by appointment only". A potentially good trip wasted!

Good location, nice to see animals being looked after and coffee shop was excellent choice although a little on the expensive side, no cards taken so you have to have cash available

If you're feeling the slightest bit stressed a llama can help you. Take a llama for a walk and you will feel instantly calmed. My husband and I absolutely love this experience and have done it twice. Will definitely be doing it again.

Contrary to popular belief llamas are the most docile creatures and you just want to hug them. Coupled with a walk along the Jurassic coast and a picnic lunch, what more could you want.

Highly recommend this experience. If you want to know more about it, please contact me as I think everyone should do this at least once in their lives!
