“Average scones in quaint garden”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Quaint, if small, seating area in garden with umbrellas for shade. Service was fine. However, the scones were just average and tasted like the cheaper ones from supermarkets. We had 3 drinks and 4 cream scones between us which cost a total of £14.

Reviewed August 4, 2013

Relaxed atmosphere, great choice, very good service, excellent cream teas but a little shabby if chic.

“Nice outdoor area”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

Was there with a family of 7, the food was good but a little more expensive then the tea rooms in larger towns. If you're there for just tea then the value is ok, but I will recommend you to go somewhere else for lunch, not that the food was not tasty, but a little expensive for the small portions..

I think they had some daily lunch platter, but I was 10 minutes late and then could not get it..
Although i did go for some home...pie... could not remember the name.. but it was a good authentic homemade pie.

small outdoor place so do not go there with a large group

“Quaint little tea room”
Reviewed June 24, 2013 via mobile

If you happen to pass through Abbotsbury, this is one little gem you can't pass. The staff are always very welcoming and the afternoon teas are delicious. The only downside is the lack of toilets, but you are directed to the local conveniences, which I must say aren't a pleasant experience. Though cannot fault the service!!
