This is the first time we have stayed at golden coast, last year we stayed in their sister park twitchen house. There was 8 of us all together staying in 1 caravan which was fine as a base. We did upgrade to 1 with heating in the bedrooms and were very glad we did as it was cold at night. The park is lovely and situated in a ideal place for exploring north Devon. We spent a lot of time in illfracombe which is only around 15 mins away. The pool was nice but not quite suited for my 3 year old twins as it doesnt have a slide or much for younger children. The arcade was good with plenty of things to do. We also enjoyed the bowling which you have to pay for but thats ok. the children enjoyed the kiddie karts and walking by the fishing lakes and seeing the baby ducks.
We spent a couple of evenings in the clubhouse for the kids entertainments all 3 of my children enjoyed dancing with billy and betty beachball and the park stars entertainers were amazing with the kids and got really involved.
We had food in one of the cafes and it was really nice. We all enjoyed it and would definately come again.
