The location is in the centre of Woolacombe with a short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach.
The apartment was nicely furnished and ideal for our 2 toddlers.
Prior to making the booking I had read there is building work being carried out next door, although a bit of a shock at first, it was well away from the apartment and caused no disruption.
As a family with young children I would highly recommend.
I continue to be drawn back like a magnet to these apartments and have just returned from another lovely break, this time in Number 4 Narracott. As ever the apartment was spotless, well presented, fully equipped and perfect for a home from home break. Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, huge sofa to lounge on and enormous balcony from which to watch the sea while eating breakfast (including amazing sausages from the shop over the road).
Pamela, the owner, and Sarah, the housekeeper, fall over themselves to ensure our stay is always as perfect as possible.
For those that don't know Woolacombe, the apartments are slap bang in the centre of town with the most mesmerising views over the beach and bay. You only need step outside the front door of the apartments and you have multiple places to eat and drink, shop or just walk and take in the amazing air and sea views.
We will be back very soon!!
We had two appartments for a short break for my daughter's family and myself my wife and two grandsons..
Shame the weather wasn't good but the apartments are across the road from the excellent Red Barn.
The apartments were warm well refurbished quality finish... I loved the paintings... and the lounge/kitchen was superb with stunning views across the bay...
Fantastic apartment in the perfect location. Awesome views of the beach/surf from the living room and dining area.It is a 2 minute walk from the beach and local shops. The apartment is very clean, has everything you would expect and is very child friendly. There was building work going on but had no effect on the apartment itself. Off road parking was available.
This apartment is great. It is very clean and warm, has lovely towels and bed linen and a fantastic view. Everything I look for in a rental property. You can walk to the beach or village in a couple of minutes (it is quite steep uphill coming back, so bear that in mind). The sunsets are fantastic.
The only minus point is the lack of parking on site at the moment due to construction works but there is a nearby secure car park.
I would certainly love to stay here again.
The view from the large lounge window is super - sunsets are spectacular.
Very comfortable and well equipped.
The adjoining building works have no noise impact whatever.
The temporary car parking arrangements, during the building works, work well and easily allow car parking for more than one car. And at this time of year until Easter street parking is free, not time limited and reasonable extensive.
Flat was beautifully clean, beds comfortable, 2 bathroom/shower room which was a great plus. Kitchen well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. Owner and housekeeper easy to contact, friendly and extremely helpful - even retrieved the hood of my daughters coat which she dropped in the car park and didn't realise it was missing til we got home - really above the call of duty :) . Can't fault stay in any way.
