“Newly refurbished and all you need”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

The apartment is freshly decorated and we were pleased with the overall look and feel of the place (see pics). It was supplied with all you need.

The owners are easy to contact and were very helpful answering questions before we arrived

It’s right in the centre of the village surrounded by shops and amenities and just a couple of minutes walk from the beech. There’s a car parking space around the back with the entrance to in the corner of the building and the apartment on the second floor.

Don’t worry about noise when you see the apartment is opposite The Captain Jack’s pub (open until midnight) and The Marisco nightclub (open to 2:30 am on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). The bedrooms are at the back of the building and with living room door and windows shut we didn’t hear a sound and had uninterrupted sleep.

The only grocery store in the village is a very over-priced Londis so stock up in a decent supermarket before you get there.

There’s a great fish and chip shop called the Woolacombe Fryer just down the road from the apartment which always had a long queue and for good reason – excellent food and good value.

The main star of course is the beach. It’s one of the best in the country! We had a great week just walking and enjoying the scenery.

Thank you for your kind review so glad you were the first to stay in our newly refurbed apartment. You really did have the best of weeks weather wise. The club only runs during the summer months but as you say it does not cause a problem anyway. We look forward to you hopefully returning. There is a very good tescos in Ilfracombe and Braunton just a few miles away. Kind regards Nicky.
