“Lovely place, lovely site 1st class staff”
Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

Stayed here for 3 weeks from 19th July to 9th August. Had a fantastic holiday, excellent value for money. This is the best site out of all of the 4 woolacombe bay parks in our opinion as its a nice friendly laid back site but then you've got the option of hoping on the open top bus to the other sites to use the other facilities. The staff at Easewell are 1st class! Martin the manager is a one of the nicest blokes you could meet.. Always friendly and will do anything to make sure you have a great holiday. Adele the cook is a lovely lady she aims to please, make sure you have one of her 'deli' burgers :-) We had food from the restaurant numerous times during our stay as it was excellent value for money.. 2 adults, 3 kids meals for under £20. The other sites are a rip off but Easewell is very reasonable. The carvery is fantastic value as well and delicious!

** mentioning carvery's...do not go for a carvery at the old mill (pub in the grounds of golden coast camp) it was the worst carvery ever.. and a total rip off**

This was our 2nd visit to Easewell., the 2nd of many many more. We did use the facilities at the other parks, travelled on the double decker bus, which was lovely looking out over rolling Devonshire countryside ** book your bus tickets online they're a lot cheaper..£10 for family of 5 for whole stay**
Only negative which lets the site down is the toilet blocks they desperately need upgrading.. Showers not very good, always flooding and on one of the days the water kept going cold and some of the toilet seats were
broken.

Thanks to the staff at Easewell for a fantastic holiday, see you next year!!
From the Berry family :-)

We have just come back from a 5 day stay at Easewell Farm Park, nice location and pitch site E was good as you can pitch where you like, however this does not stop anyone from pitching their tent right in front of yours which is a bit too close. Toilets and showers were constantly wet and dirty, toilet seats broken and showers had very poor drainage so you had to take a shower standing in a large puddle of dirty water. Pool was ok until my children spotted faeces, when alerting the staff they didn't seem bothered and failed to empty or clean the pool or attempt to clean it thoroughly and felt that sticking a large tube in the pool for a bit would do the job, which I doubt very much luckily the kids were not unwell from it. My only other gripe about the place is the over charge takeaway they have on offer and the fact they short change you as and when they can...so if you do decide to go check your change, don't shower and deffo don't go in the pool unless you want to swim in other peoples toilet!

Easewell Farm is a beautiful place to camp. A small, friendly, quiet campsite. They offer a variety of pitches and the toilets and shower areas are very clean. We stayed for a week and will definitely be returning before the summer holidays are over. The manager Martin is a great guy as is his assistant (our 4 year old calls him Judd??) and will bend over backwards for you. Our car battery was flat and he was over with his jump leads within 5 mins to help us! Plenty of walks around the area, close to Mortehoe and Woolacombe.
Definitely recommend it.

We stayed here 20-27 JUL 13 and had a good time. The site is quiet and well kept with freindly staff. The bus is excellent and takes you to the other 3 parks and the beach. The facilities are ok and better than the average camping site. Facilities on other parks are good with something for everyone. There are no family bathrooms for young families which would have been useful. Take away, bar and shop prices were reasonable and as good as you get anywhere.
My minor complaints are the bar wasn't open as advertised on a couple of occasions and some of the taps in the toilet don't work well and need a service.

My husband and I stayed here between 18th July - 22nd July we both had a lovely time and couldn't fault the place. The staff are very friendly and really helpful. The showers/toilets are well mantained and cleaned regularly. Also, the location is fantastic. Martin the manager was very helpful during our stay and we will definetly be coming back!!

We stayed at Easewell farm the first week in July. We were camping and the pitch we were allocated was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space, very natural looking pitches and the site is spotlessly clean. The facilities for showering etc were always spotless and water always nice and hot. The swimming pool is a nice small(isn) pool with no airs and graces, but it doesnt need any as its great for a nice relaxing family swim. Warm water and secure too. The pub is a traditional style English pub and has a couple of full sized snooker tables that are free to play. There is an amusement arcade with some machines in it and a decent laundrette that doesn't bankrupt you to do a washing. The kids play area is great and my daughter had great fun playing in it. There's also a carvery in the bar on a Sunday that looked very reasonably priced, but we didn't use it, although it was very popular. The takeaway was only open on our last night which was dissapointing but not the end of the world. I only have a couple of minor gripes about the site. First, my wife was concerned that although there were 2 separate shower areas for gents, there was only 1 for ladies for some reason. This meant she had a longer walk to the toilet or to have a shower than me, Its a bit of a bugbear for tent campers that most sites overlook the walk to the toilet - Had there been a closer block to the EHU pitches then it would have been better, but again, its not the end of the world having a a slightly longer walk to the toilet. My other issue is the shop. Now the prices in the shop are fine, its not too expensive and infact a lot of what it sells is very good value, but it was open a grand total of 2 hours a day!! 9.30 - 11.30. and longer hours on a Saturday. The takeaway also could have been open more frequently, but I do understand we visited at the beginning of the season, but It would have been nice to have been able to eat on site without having to cook our own dinner maybe a couple of nights. Staff were all very hospitable and friendly. We were always made to feel welcome and it was a lovely ambience throughout the site the whole week we stayed. Infact we toyed with the idea of staying on for an extra few days but a pre paid hotel booking en route home meant we left after a week - BIG MISTAKE! The hotel we went to ended up evacuated due to fire, so we had to drive to Glasgow in the middle of the night with no sleep. I wish we'd stayed on at Easwell farm. All in all we had a brilliant time and we'll be back as soon as we can. The added bonus of using the other 3 sites in the groups facilities and entertainment was great. We look forward to seeing you all again sometime. We have come home with some fantastic memories and some great photos of the area.

We booked this site on line and were very happy. Good site with excellent dog exercise areas. Site is well laid out with hardstandings and electric and water hook up points well distributed. Bar was friendly and welcoming. Nice little indoor pool area. Cafe served good value food. We will be back.
