Lovely long, clean beach to walk along with stunning views all around. Lovely cafe, Enrico's, situated just on the beach with the best Devonshire cream tea.

This is a lovely beach, kept nice and clean and there are life guards on duty. Brilliant surfing, we watched my neice on her board all afternoon and just paddled in the waves - perfect. Just off the main road there was a good £3 all day car park with a really sweet and friendly man running it. When the tide is out the beach is huge, so it was funny that all the people congregated down one end when there was a whole beach to be used. Round the corner there is a beautiful little shell beach and round the next corner, yet again another beautiful beach. Woolacombe itself was lovely, it is a shame Normies the waffle restaurant is closing down after 26 years in October because their really friendly staff did waffles to die for. If you are in North Devon, Woolacombe is highly recommended.

Very clean, huge long sandy beach. Parking a bit pricy, but worth it if good weather. Water a bit cold! Nice to see lifeguards on duty.

I love this beach.
There's a defined area for "Humans Only" and more importantly the rest you can have your Dogs, horses & whatever other pets you care to mention on the beach!
There's nothing I can think of that is negative about Woolacombe Beach. Except, when the day is over you have to leave!

The tide was out, it was early Saturday morning so the beach was being cleaned. There were surfers everywhere catching the waves. I wish I'd had a bucket and spade, the firm wet sand was crying out for a huge castle to be made. Thank goodness, there weren't a load of shops and kiosks to spoil things on the beach.
