“Fab beach”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Very clean, huge long sandy beach. Parking a bit pricy, but worth it if good weather. Water a bit cold! Nice to see lifeguards on duty.

“Unspoilt long reaching sand!!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

I love this beach.
There's a defined area for "Humans Only" and more importantly the rest you can have your Dogs, horses & whatever other pets you care to mention on the beach!
There's nothing I can think of that is negative about Woolacombe Beach. Except, when the day is over you have to leave!

“A morning walk on the beach”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

The tide was out, it was early Saturday morning so the beach was being cleaned. There were surfers everywhere catching the waves. I wish I'd had a bucket and spade, the firm wet sand was crying out for a huge castle to be made. Thank goodness, there weren't a load of shops and kiosks to spoil things on the beach.

“Stunning beach and terrific scenery”
Reviewed September 21, 2012

No wonder surfers flock here its gorgeous and I expect when the weather is good for surfing is perfect. The sand is clean and dog free although judging from the amount dog mess on the grass and paths around the car parks this doesn't stop people letting their dogs foul such a beautiful area sadly.

“Clean beach with great views”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Walk along Woolacombe beach to Puttsborough at the other end. Clean well kept beach with glorious views. Lunch in the Red Barn is a must! There is nothing at all to dislike about this beach.
